The airport, Costa Rica's primary
airport, is located in Alajuela
about 20 km west of downtown San José. The airport,

Bolaños (Pavas) International (SYQ)
The airport is located in the San José
suburb of Pavas, about 5km west of
downtown. It serves as the main airport
for domestic flights and handles
scheduled international flights to
Nicaragua and Panama. It also serves as
hub for Nature Air and hangar for
private airplanes and helicopters.
